"I joined AWC because I wanted to find a community of women in computing, and I later chose to apply for the executive board since I wanted to be a part of the team shaping the community I loved freshman year. Currently, I serve as a co-director of sponsorship, but last year I served as the director of social events. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, writing, baking, and hiking."

"I joined AWC because I wanted to participate in events to further my network and learning, as well as get to know more women in tech since most of my involvements are in the business school. I enjoy being education director because I am able to create events that drew me to AWC, as well as foster community through learning. Some hobbies I have outside of tech include running, lifting, cooking and spending time with friends and family!"
Organizes the Big/Little program, leads committees for AWC’s annual Casino Night, and drives active member engagement by developing retention incentives.
"I joined AWC to find a supportive community of women in tech who inspire and encourage each other to grow! Last year, I served on the exec board as Administrative Director, and this year I applied for Co-Director of Active Members because I wanted to give back to the welcoming community that supported me when I first joined AWC as a freshman. My goal is to help create that same sense of belonging for new members by organizing programs and events that bring people together. Outside of tech, I enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling!"
In charge of establishing AWC's visual identity through brand design, including our social media graphics, public advertisement, and website UI/UX.
"I joined AWC my freshman year because I started Computer Science later into college, and I wanted to find a community of other women in tech with similar goals and interests as mine! I applied for Design specifically because I love to create and am also pursuing a design related degree. Some hobbies I have outside of tech include journaling, crocheting, drawing, baking, gaming, and watching cartoons :D"

My freshman year was full of me trying to gain my footing, and AWC provided a lot of opportunities for my social and professional growth! Outside of tech, I enjoy making art, puzzles, going to museums, thrifting, cooking, and reading!"
Supports with event planning and communication by coordinating logistics, RSVPs, and communication related to AWC events.
"I joined AWC because I wanted to be part of a supportive community of women in tech at UMD and explore the tech space alongside others who share similar interests. I applied for the Co-Director of Active Members position because I genuinely valued the connections I built and everything I learned through the Big/Little program, and I want to help create that same meaningful experience for other members. Outside of school, my hobbies include traveling, reading, watching movies, and photography!"
In charge of managing AWC’s annual budget and allocating funds effectively, including maintaining accurate financial records, including expenditures and invoices.
"I joined AWC to gain confidence in computer science while finding a supportive community of people with similar interests and backgrounds. I wanted to do Finance because I wanted hands-on experience managing a budget and learning skills outside of tech. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, baking, building with Legos, and watching movies and shows!"
